The Broken Bread is a creative agency operated by Kristan and John Raines that focuses on photography and videography in the world of food and drink. Kristan began The Broken Bread as a personal blog to share her recipes with friends and family, while John worked in the film industry as an editor, director, and cinematographer. Pretty soon the blog started turning into a career and Kristan and John decided to combine their efforts and create a business together. They began their work together in Seattle, WA and are currently based in Portland, OR.
